Welcoming Partnership of Care

In 2023, Mysa Care proudly welcomed Partnership of Care into our organisation. As a trusted specialist provider of supported living, residential, and day care in South Wales, they now play a valued role within the Mysa Care family.

Together, we support adults with high-acuity, complex needs, including learning disabilities and autism. We always place the individual at the heart of our work. In addition, Partnership of Care brings specialist expertise, delivering training such as TEACCH to empower our teams and ensure truly personalised support.

A Strong Presence in Caerphilly

This partnership marked an exciting milestone for Mysa Care and strengthened our presence across Caerphilly. Over the past 18 months, we have continued to grow. We have opened several new supported living homes and, as a result, expanded our ability to help more people live fulfilling, meaningful lives.

Introducing Parc Farm

Operational since late 2024, Parc Farm is our first new development in the region. It is a beautifully renovated, detached property with natural light and generous outdoor space. Most importantly, Parc Farm feels like home, and people feel proud to live there.

Located in the heart of the Taff Bargoed Valley, Parc Farm reflects the needs and preferences of the people who live there. For example, a sunken trampoline and a hot tub support sensory needs and promote wellbeing. Consequently, these spaces are both fun and therapeutic.

Homes Designed Around People

Each person has a private bedroom and lounge to promote comfort, choice, and independence. Meanwhile, communal areas encourage social interaction and a strong sense of community.

Following the success of Parc Farm, we now offer five further beautiful homes. Each home helps individuals feel safe, valued, and truly at home.

Looking Ahead to 2025

With two additional properties now in renovation, we look forward to opening their doors in the coming months. These homes will welcome more people into supportive, empowering environments where they can thrive. Moreover, they will broaden local choice for individuals and families.

Two New Services in Development

  • Oakwood House (Caerphilly): Oakwood House will offer spacious en-suite bedrooms, a sensory garden, and a dedicated activity space. It will suit adults with autism and sensory processing needs. Calm, clearly defined areas will promote regulation, comfort, and growing independence. In addition, a skilled, consistent team will provide 24/7 support.
  • Meadow View (Taff Bargoed Valley): Meadow View will include private suites, an activity kitchen, and flexible communal areas. It will support people with learning disabilities and complex behaviours. Structure and predictability will anchor daily routines, while outdoor space will encourage movement, choice, and engagement.

Both services reflect the needs and preferences of the people who will live there. Every decision, from layout to lighting, aims to enhance wellbeing, safety, and a genuine sense of home. As a result, more people will have the opportunity to live meaningful lives, close to the communities that matter to them.

A Word from Danielle James

Danielle James, our Business Development Coordinator, shares:

“Being part of the Mysa Care Business Development Team, where we transform properties into beautiful and safe homes for people, is really rewarding. From sourcing the right property to opening the doors, our team is involved in every step. Seeing a building transform into a welcoming home is amazing, but watching the people we support settle in and grow in a place developed just for them is an exceptional feeling.”
