Parkside is designed to promote independence while offering tailored support. The home includes four self-contained apartments, each with:

  • A private bedroom
  • Bathroom
  • Kitchen and living area

In addition, the people we support benefit from a shared communal area for social activities, a secure enclosed garden, parking facilities, and easy access to public transport. Each person has their own front door, which creates privacy and ownership while maintaining structured support.

Tailored, Person-Centred Support

Support at Parkside focuses on individual preferences, strengths, and goals. For example, we:

  • Promote daily living and life skills
  • Build confidence and self-esteem
  • Enable community access and participation
  • Support health, wellbeing, and routines
  • Encourage personal choice and independence

We follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Active Support models. These approaches empower individuals to do as much as possible for themselves with the right assistance.
