Meet Antonia, our Business Support Manager
Antonia Coates is the Business Support Manager for Mysa Care and Partnership of Care. She provides strategic, operational, and people-focused leadership across both organisations. In her role, Antonia helps build strong foundations that support high-quality, person-centred social care. As a result, teams can focus on delivering safe, compassionate, and effective support.
Antonia joined Mysa Care in December 2022 and brought with her a broad professional background. She combines experience in law, business management, and human resources leadership. Consequently, she plays a key role in strengthening governance, improving internal processes, and supporting organisational growth. These elements are essential for effective leadership in social care.
She began her career in law in 2016 and qualified as a Paralegal in 2020. During this time, Antonia developed strong skills in compliance, policy development, and stakeholder engagement. Importantly, these skills transfer well to the social care sector. Strong leadership, accountability, and regulatory compliance remain critical to delivering safe and high-quality care.
Supporting Leadership and Strong Care Services
In 2021, Antonia moved into management to make a wider impact. She was promoted to Business Manager, where she developed her leadership capabilities further. In this role, she supported operational delivery, people management, and service improvement. As a result, she gained valuable insight into how strong leadership in social care supports both staff wellbeing and positive outcomes for people who use services.
Alongside her professional experience, Antonia is a fully qualified HR professional. She is currently studying towards the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management. This commitment reflects her focus on continuous development and best practice. Furthermore, it supports her work in building inclusive cultures and effective people strategies within social care organisations.
Today, Antonia remains passionate about empowering leaders and teams across Mysa Care and Partnership of Care. She believes that compassionate leadership starts with clear processes and well-supported people. By aligning values, systems, and people, she helps create an environment where teams can deliver outstanding care to the communities they serve.
