Meet Colin, our Quality Director

Colin is the Quality Director for Mysa Care and Partnership of Care, providing quality, compliance, and improvement leadership across both organisations. He joined Mysa Care in 2022 and brings over 20 years of experience in adult social care.

Colin has worked in adult social care for over twenty years, beginning as a Support Worker in residential care supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge. He progressed to Senior Support Worker, Assistant Manager, and Deputy Manager for a national provider, before becoming a Registered Manager in 2007. During this time, he successfully turned around a CQC-rated zero-star inadequate service to a three-star excellent rated service within 12 months.

Driving Service Improvement and Regulatory Compliance

Following this success, Colin supported further residential and supported living registrations and led turnaround and improvement work at other poorly performing services across the South West and London, achieving full regulatory compliance.

In 2011, he joined the quality team of the same provider as a Senior Quality and Compliance Manager for the South region, leading a team overseeing 34 residential services and domiciliary care agencies.

In 2015, Colin moved to another national provider as Head of Quality for the South West and Wales, overseeing quality across 80 services, including specialist and older people’s care. Building on this experience, he established a successful care consultancy supporting smaller providers with quality and compliance, before joining a mid-sized care company in the Midlands as Quality Director to lead its improvement strategy.
